Haley Whitney

Haley Whitney is a Senior Paralegal at Sissel Law, PLLC, where she specializes in estate planning and real estate matters. She brings more than 10 years of paralegal experience to the firm, having worked with several notable law practices in the Des Moines metro.
 

Throughout her career, Haley has supported attorneys in a wide range of practice areas, including employment law, civil litigation, family law, real estate law, probate, and estate planning. She earned her undergraduate degree from Simpson College and became a Certified Paralegal after completing her certification through DMACC.
 

In addition to her role at Sissel Law, Haley serves as a professor in the Paralegal program at DMACC, where she enjoys helping students build practical skills for the legal field.
 

Outside the office, Haley loves spending time at home with her husband, their children, and their German Shepherd. Her family stays active together by playing volleyball and spending time outdoors. Haley and her husband are enthusiastic travelers - recent adventures include Bali, Thailand, and hiking Machu Picchu in Peru. Their favorite destination, however, remains Palm Springs – Haley’s hometown.
