Claire L. McMahon, JD, LLM, is a partner at Sissel Law, PLLC and a member of the firm's Trusts & Estates practice group. She focuses on estate and wealth planning and business planning matters, primarily for high-net-worth families and closely held business owners. Claire counsel’s clients on a wide variety of matters, including sophisticated income and estate tax planning, business structuring and succession, asset protection planning strategies, premarital planning, and trust and estate administration.
 

Claire regularly works with individuals, families, and business owners to provide personalized legal and tax advice designed to address their specific needs and objectives. Prior to working at Sissel Law, Claire worked with other well-established law firms in Chicago where she represented clients in areas of tax controversy and compliance, estate planning and administration, and general corporate and tax matters.
 

Claire is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Chicago Estate Planning Counsel.
